Homework and Remedial Work

At the senior school level, homework is assigned on a daily basis. However, it is targeted and there is a specific timetable to ensure that the child is not over burdened. Students who need extra remedial work are coached free of charge. All students are given projects in addition to the regular class work to enhance their understanding of various subjects.

Students in the 10th standard are coached in the evenings in specially designed Board Exam Special Training (BEST) classes.

As with the junior sections, reviews are conducted at the end of every chapter. Formal tests are conducted at the end of every term on a cumulative basis based on the board pattern of testing. In the 10th standard, chapter-wise tests are conducted at the completion of the syllabus. This is followed by a series of trial exams. The class teacher, head of the senior school and the principal continuously monitor each childs performance. Certificates and medals are awarded at the end of the year to the most promising students.

Secondary Co-ordinator

Mrs. Sasikala Ragunath

Having been in the teaching, training and administrative field of education for nearly four decades, I find working with members of this renowned institution, a wonderful experience.  I owe the pleasure and privilege to the Riverside management since I’m given the free will to exercise and execute the expertise that I believe I’ve earned and gained these two scores as an educationist. My strong faith and confidence in my students’ readiness for the future will never go unfulfilled. I love being a Riversider.
